The story behind this journey is truly a crazy one, but worth every minute. In 2016, after years of journaling and self-reflection, I decided I wanted to help others by sharing my experiences. I finally found the courage to start a blog—and I absolutely loved the process! Writing weekly blog posts not only allowed me to connect with others but also helped me heal through several personal tragedies. It became a way for me to process emotions I was still working through.

Through this, I realized I wanted to write a book for adults—something that is still very much in the works! However, in 2019, after experiencing yet another life-altering tragedy, I founded The Giggling Life Care Farm. I knew I needed to help children in ways beyond writing—through the very thing that had helped my own children and the kiddos who had lived with us heal: animals and nature. Watching the interactions between the kids and the animals was incredible, but even more powerful was seeing them heal together.

At that moment, my journey took another turn, and The Giggling Life Care Farm was born. What started as a vision quickly grew beyond anything I could have imagined. I am beyond grateful to witness the lives this farm has touched, and I’m even more excited for the impact we will continue to make in the future. We focus so much on mindset here—through the animals, the space, and the experiences we create.

At the beginning of this year, I knew that Comet’s story could inspire children in a way that was both funny and deeply meaningful. That’s when I decided to write my first children’s book—bringing the farm’s stories to life from the animals’ perspectives in a way that connects with kids. And yes, this is just the beginning! Many more stories from the farm will follow, each with its own unique character and message.

I am beyond thrilled to share this experience with you all, and I’m certain that one day, the book I’ve been working on for many years will also make its way into the world. It holds a special place in my heart, and if it can help even one person, then it will have served its purpose.
